In Car Solutions – Shipping & Returns Policy

The following information is our Delivery and Returns agreement and outlines how we handle all shipping and returns of product orders placed with In Car Solutions.

When using or participating in the In Car Solutions website you are accepting the terms of the following Delivery and Returns Policy.


In Car Solutions uses Startrack Express & Australia Post as our primary delivery method but on occasion use other methods should this be faster, more affordable or more convenient.

Shipping Costs

To keep our product prices as competitive as possible and as simple as possible In Car Solutions charges a standard Express and Normal delivery charge on all orders, which is indicated at Checkout. From time to time In Car Solutions will offer freight free on promotional items.

From time to time we may run specials on in regards to shipping. However, the times listed above will still remain the same.

Tracking Orders

All orders placed at In Car Solutions will include an order number and also a tracking number.

Tracking numbers will be produced to our customers once your order has been shipped and left our warehouse.

Customers will be notified of tracking numbers by email so please check your junk & spam folders as this is an automatic process.

Insurance & Exceptions

All our deliveries are insured and come with a tracking number so we can always ensure an order is delivered to the customer directly.

In Car Solutions does not ship to Parcel Lockers or PO Box’s as all orders must be signed for. This is a requirement of our insurance policy.

Where a customer gives a written authority to leave products without a signature, any and all included insurance will be voided.

Delivery Times

All products advertised on In Car Solutions are generally in stock and ready to be shipped, unless there has been an inventory count error, or the item has been damaged in any way. Our kitted items rely on imported products to build them and these individual parts can be delayed by customs or export shipping rules.

Shipping times may vary for Rural / Regional areas, WA & NT. Once an order has left our warehouse the responsibility for delivery is upon the carrier service & the customer. Please use the tracking provided to you to redirect or redeliver items as necessary.

If a situation does arise where there may be delays in your order, we will contact you, normally via the e-mail or telephone number which you will have provided when placing your order. During the holiday seasons there can be delivery delays due to higher volume of postage so please keep that in mind when ordering for special occasions.

Deliveries made by courier (heavy and bulky items) cannot be delivered to an unattended address. The courier will require a signature from an occupant at the specified delivery address at the time of delivery, if no one is available to sign for the goods or an authority to leave (ATL) is not given a card will be left and the parcel re-directed to the nearest courier depot. You will then be responsible for collecting the parcel from that depot you may incur an additional charge for re-delivery by the courier company.

In Car Solutions recommends all deliveries be shipped to a location that is attended during business hours, whether that is a home, work or other address, to minimize any redelivery delays and/or fees

Damaged Deliveries:

If an item has been damaged in transit, photographs of the item/s and all packaging must be sent to within 48 hours of the delivery date.


Please choose our items carefully before making your selection and proceeding with your online purchase order as we do not refund for change of mind.

We are only able to accept a product for a refund, replacement, or credit where there has been a major failure, such as:

  1. When the product has been assessed and found faulty.
  2. The product has been wrongly described.
  3. The product differs from the sample provided.
  4. Or the product does not meet the “fitness of purpose”.
  5. You have 30 days from delivery to request an exchange, refund, or store credit.
  6. Refunds will be processed within 5 business days.

In Car Solutions may offer a refund at its own discretion however all discretionary refunds carry a 20% restocking fee and all postage fees must be paid by the customer. In Car, Solutions takes no responsibility for a product lost in transit when being returned to the address below.



All products sold by In Car Solutions are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty in which In Car Solutions is authorized to offer as an Australia retailer of all products we sell.

Warranty items will be assessed by either In Car Solutions technical staff or the manufacturers technical staff before a claim can be approved.

In addition to the standard manufacturer’s warranty, In Car Solutions may offer an optional Extended Warranty on certain items of which you may like to take advantage of.

Conditions of warranty:
  • All warranties are a back to base repair warranty unless specifically specified by the manufacturer.
  • Proof of purchase must be shown in order to claim warranty.
  • Warranty claims must be within manufacturers given time frame.
  • Warranty claims must meet manufacturer’s warranty conditions.
  • All products come with a minimum 12 months warranty.
  • Return of products for warranty is back to base as such return freight is at customers expense.
  • Any Manufacturer’s Warranty or Extended Warranty offered by In Car Solutions applies in addition to and applies alongside Australian Consumer Law.
Optional Extended Warranty

In Car Solutions offers an optional Extended Warranty on certain items, when the goods purchased are installed by on of our preferred retail partners.

This extended warranty is an additional service offered by In Car Solutions to allow our customers to have peace of mind that the product they are purchasing are going to continue to work for the desired period of use.



In Car Solutions strives, to the fullest extent possible, provide accurate and updated content on this website. Unfortunately, there may occasionally be price changes, sold out goods and other unintentional errors on our site. We reserve the right not to be liable for these errors or changes and neither In Car Solutions, nor any employee or representative of In Car Solutions will be liable for damages arising from the use of this website or the products sold here.

Changes to Policies

If In Car Solutions makes changes to any terms or conditions of this Privacy Agreement, the changes will be posted in this document.

We may change, modify, add or remove portions of this Agreement at any time, and any changes will become effective immediately upon being posted unless we advise otherwise.

Resolving Disputes

Let’s try to sort things out first. We want to address your concerns without needing a formal dispute. Our staff are human too and sometimes they do make mistakes and sometimes misunderstandings do happen.

We ask that if you do have a problem, issue or even just a question, please feel free to contact us first via our email and we will try to find a viable solution for any situation that may arise.
